Traveling Highway 12 (Scenic Highway between Capital Reek and Escalante) took my breath away! The road was literally squeezed in between rock formations. The colors of said formations ranged from bright white to blue to gray to pink and red. A true rainbow of color.
I stopped into an art gallery that was no bigger than 10 × 10. The owner/artist was a watercolorist specializing in awe inspiring landscapes! Harriet Priska was so fun to speak with. She insisted that I come into her home to see all her artwork and her home. I bought a few cards and a bracelet from her which prompted her to share a jar of jelly with me!
She was very happy to show me her window that she had made and installed in her front door.
Oh, I camped at Singletree Campground up un the mountains and when I tell it was cold - soooo cold! Too cold to cook out, too cold to sit out and yes, too cold to sit around a fire. But, there are plusses - Jolene and I figured out to be with each other - crowded as it was. And, have you ever seen an Aspen forest? I don’t mean a few trees, I mean a whole freaking forest! It must be spectacular in the fall.
Ok so this one leaves me a bit speechless! How freaking awesome! ❤️
